The Donor Recognition Program has been established to honour individuals, businesses and organizations who have supported Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Institute monetarily through the years. Specific categories have been created to acknowledge the level of support.
A minimum donation of $100.00 entitles donors to a brass strip bearing their name or the name of someone they wish to remember or honour. (The brass strip holds a maximum of 38 characters including spaces.)
As all donations are cumulative; the individual brass strip moves from one category to another as the requirements for the new category are met.
The Donor Wall is updated annually. All donations will be recognized in the newsletter unless the donor wishes to remain anonymous.

In Memory
In In Memory donations the name of the person to be remembered is engraved on the brass strip and does not include the name of the donor. However, the amount of the donor's contribution will be added to previous donations.
In Memoriam
In In Memoriam donations the name is displayed when the cumulative memoriam donations from friends and family reach $3,000.
As In Memory and In Memoriam donations are received, letters are sent to the families providing the names and addresses of those who made donations.
